Monaco is known for the F1 Grand Prix race through the streets, glitzy casinos, yachts lined up in the harbor, luxe hotels-with great shopping, restaurants and night clubs. It can be a quick weekend-getaway trip or a day trip from Nice & Cannes by train. 

I recommend walking up the hill to see the President's Palace of Monaco where you will get a breathtaking view.  

Next, walk through Monaco towards the Monte Carlo Casino.  You will pass great hotels and find a nice spot for lunch. 

Depending on your timeline- you can either go shopping, relax by your hotel pool or get ready for the night scene.
